Tending

During a residency at Obsidian Coast we slowed down, spent time outdoors and connected with friends, plants and birds local to Bradford-on-Avon in England.

Over one week we enjoyed regular walks along the River Avon, wandering into nearby fields and farms. We researched local plant life, histories of British gardening and international plant conservation schemes. While attending Bradford-on-Avon's Secret Garden tour we invited local gardeners to donate plant cuttings to Obsidian Coast, an opportunity for connection and organic growth through care and cultivation.
